Tender Mercy

The past few weeks/months have been filled with stress, heartache and worry as we have been making lots of tough decisions. Some we wanted to make and others we didn't. I have been overwhelmed and troubled. This week in particular seemed to have brought an extra dose of those stresses. My live has been more chaotic than normal and extremely less organized...both wreak havoc on my OCD tendencies.
With surgery scheduled in just ten days, it's required a lot of forward planning and increased organization to help things run more smoothly when I am down to only one arm. To have Christmas planned and prepared, to have school and life lined up for the kids, to have my family somewhat equipped to handle life with a crippled mother…has all been a little more than I can handle. Or so it feels. And to find resources to match all the needs has been excessively overwhelming for me.
While I have friends and family that have offered and extended great sacrifices to help, I still have felt the mountains of uncertainties associated with all the immense changes we have been faced with. However, this week, one less worry found an unexpected answer, certainly a tender mercy from a loving God.
A gift came in the mail this week…an unmarked gift completely anonymous with no available trace to the source. A gift that has answered prayers and extremely lightened some of those concerns and worries for me and my family. I am not sure what prompted such a gift and how you knew exactly what it was that was needed but I am forever grateful for the person (hopefully you read my blog) that listened to the Holy Spirit prompt you to think of us and so selflessly give to my family. I prayer that you, too, will receive great blessings for your exuberant service, thoughtfulness and love. You are definitely on the Lord’s errand. Thank you. My heart if full.

I love stories of mercy such as that. I am happy to you and your generous giver, and I am grateful you shared it with all your readers to lift us as well.

Let me add my willingness to help in anyway over the next bit while you are going through so much! I will help in anyway I can.
